What goes up, must come down, like your love for me, must come ‘round, you could try and stop it, but that won’t do you good.
‘Cause I got love, that means I got power, to release you from hate and say, I’ll make you my flower, that goes on forever, goes on for sure.
All wrapped tight and caught up in your race, making love is never a waste, all these other things what are they here for, anyone could see they don’t much care for, than all of your wasted time, in this I’ve been so glad for times, ‘cause I found the love inside, much better than gold.
All by myself, you could stay all by yourself, who said that’s what God, that’s what God put us here for. All by yourself, now who’s gonna’ stay without someone to call for help, what keeps you alive, keeps you on earth.
Now all I ask, is one thing, all I’m taking from you is, what you’ll bring, you can call me foolish, I will call it right.
Do you know, do you feel, what I got for you is more real, than any other lover, they could put much forth.
